Family owned and operated since 1989, Baer's Garden Center & Greenhouse had it's beginning when Randy & Tammy Baer along with their 3 children, Randi, Amanda, and Wesley; started delivering mulch, firewood, and lawn furniture from their residence on Mountain Road in Orrstown, Pennsylvania.

In 1998, the Baer Family relocated the business to 8041 Molly Pitcher Hwy (Route 11) in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania where they added bedding flowers and landscaping to their list of services. In 2002, they expanded to the Agway Feed Store at 484 Roxbury Road in Shippensburg and operated with two locations from 2002 through June 2004.

In July 2004, the Baer Family decided to close the Route 11 Store to provide their customers with the personal attention they deserve. Offering a Full Service Pet and Garden Center with Mulch, Firewood, Landscaping Supplies, and Agway Bagged Feeds; Baer's Garden Center & Greenhouse is your local resource giving the community personal and friendly service. Along with traditional products and services, they also offer anything from Grass Mowing to Pond/Yard Installations & Repair to Mulch, Firewood, and Coal Deliveries.
